QUALITY ASSURANCE

We employ a very high standard of quality control on our products in accordance with ISO9001 Certification. Various stages of quality check from raw material (paper) to printing, die-cutting and finally finished cartons are done with sophisticated testing equipment to ensure that cartons and trays are of the best quality for our customers.

QUALITY CONTROL PROCESS

RAW MATERIAL (PAPER) INSPECTION

Condition - to condition the paper to follow the standard atmosphere

Grammage - to determine the grammage of the paper according to specifications

Cobb Test - to determine the quantity of water that can be absorbed by a paper in a specified time.

Moisture content-oven dried method - to determine the moisture content of paper at the time of sampling.

Bursting Strength - to measure the bursting strength of the paper

Caliper - to determine the thickness of paper over specified area and under specific static load

Ring Crush Test - to measure the edgewise compression force required to crush a long strip cut of specimen for strength measurement.

Brightness and appearance - to describe the physical appearance of the paper

CORRUGATING (PLAIN BOARD)

Grammage of component papers after separation - to determine the grammage of individual papers from which corrugated board has been made.

Edge Crush Resistance Test – to determine the edgewise crush resistance of board.

Flat Crush Resistance Test – to determine the flat crush resistance of corrugated board used in the manufacture of packing cases.

Lamination – to obtain resisting strength against separation of liner and adhering the corrugated board.

Thickness - to determine the thickness of the boards under specified pressure.

Bursting Strength – to measure the bursting strength of the board produced.

Flute Analysis – to analyse the flute height of board produced.

FINISHED GOODS (PLAIN BOARD OR CARTON)

Moisture Content - to determine the moisture content of the board

Top Load – to measure the ability of cartons to resist external compressive force
